Good Long games?

Looking for games that have god length and tons of unlockables

I don't like Final Fantasy or turn based games. 

Well, yeah, RG is good...

Okami is excellent and the .Hack// games are good as well.

Saying "good and long" but "No Final Fantasy!! NO TURN BASED!" limits you like a son of a ****

Finally, there is someone who also doesn't like turn based games. High five Ares120890! I just don't like turn based games, I HATE IT! I hate it when you can't jump, move around your enemies, hide from them, and evade/avoid/dodge their attacks. And also, attacking SHOULD be just one button smash away. It sucks when you have to choose attack, then choose what kind of attack, then wait. Boring. Hehehe!

To answer you question, Okami is the best long game that is not turn-based. Most long games are turn based because of it being turn based.

It seems as if these days the games are easier and shorter (ex. COD series), it is the old games that are longer and harder.fazio93

How original, an old man gamer clamoring on the to the past. Those routines are so lame, it does not make you look good, only the opposite. 

Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Alot of super heroes, lot's of unlockable's, alot of enemies, alot of missions.

Most long games are not long because they are turn-based, silly. Go play your Dynasty Warriors over and over.

On topic: Rogue Galaxy, Dark Cloud 1 and 2, Star Ocean 3, and the .Hack series are all great and long. If you're looking for non-RPGs, there's Okami, but it's so terribly easy it can take away some of the fun. If you don't mind stuff being repetitive, then Dynasty Warriors is indeed for you. I like the series, but if you can play it for over 50 hours, you have bad taste, or nothing else to do.

very well stated. Also to add to his list (which i completely agree with), the tales series can be fun. tales of legendia and tales of the abyss are great action rpgs. I would prefer tales of the abyss (it can be very fun when you have 4 friends that want to pull all nighters with you).

Okami , GTA San Andreas and Resident Evil 4 ........... good long games that will last you for weeks :) .............
