Does anyone have any games that they can't complete because of the difficulty level? I have completed all of my games and I want some harder ones that will take me longer.
all save for some rpg's but ya can hardly call ffxii hard, just extremely boring and repetetive.
I think gradius V and Shinobi gave the most sense of satisfaction after completion. These games manage to stay fun no matter how often ya die as it build on your reflexes and allows you alot of freedom for hard arcade games.
R-type final i played through at very irregular intervals some points ya could even call a chore as its main element is memorising a pre-determined path and following it perfectly if ya want to pass any level, only way to get through it is trial and error Kinda like playing through 7 giant mazes in a single sitting however every time you end up in a dead end you are forced to replay from the very begining
Since I dont really play anything else, I know of a few RPGs. Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter, Dragon Quest VIII (just for the level grining) and Shin Megami Tensei. They provide an extra challenge compared to your regular RPG.

On PS2, try any of the ones hot114 mentioned, or pick up Capcom Clas-sics Collection and try Super Ghouls N' Ghosts and Gun.Smoke. Or if you have a GameCube by chance, try F-Zero GX and Ikaruga

LOL yeah anyone says that they can beat any game try super ghouls and ghosts it will literally take you months and probably fusterate you to the point where you just quit. And that is with the save game feature where you get to restart at the furthest level youve made it to. If you claim to be able to beat any game play this one the original arcade version if you can beat it then I bow to you.
Theres never a game I haven't beaten just because it was too hard (mostly just because I don't have time, too many games to play and so little free time :P). The only game thats ever kicked my ass is the original Devil May Cry, way harder than DMC3 on some parts (not being able to go back to beaten levels to get extra orbs to upgrade health and abilities was a drag too).

Which difficulty were you playing? all were easy except dante must die!
