Most certainly not, it just came late in the lifecycle of the PS2. DMC3, Resident Evil 4, DMC, and Guitar Hero as well as many other games (those are just some of my favorites) are better than GOWll.
Now if you asked me what the best game for this point in the lifecycle of the PS2 it would definetely be GOWll.Â
everybody's got their own opinion, and imo yes it is the best game ive played, and the first one is next in line. i like how everyone makes statements like theyre facts when its really just their opinion. there really isnt a "greatest" game because everyone has different tastes.
NO it isn't the best. there's just all this hype about it. i thought the first one was ok though i'm almost done beating it, sort of. but it certainly isn't the best :lol:
if you said GOW 1 I'd say it is possibly the best action adventure game ever made(in my opinion), cuz it came out of the blue and it amazed every one, but GOW2 was kinda expected what to be like and it disappointed some people, but i liked the combos in it.
hahaha! u kiddin' me!? c'mon there's no way that game can be the best PS2 title, yeah it's a great game but if u say so, that means u'r nuttin' more than an amateur, u should go play some more games before u make a decision pronto!!
Not really and I still say David Jaffe did a hell of a job as the director in the first one while this one is just the gameplay is a lot better while I like the story in the first one way much better
