Off-hand, I'd say since both games excellect experiences and God of War 2 is supposedly a continuation of the first I recommend buying both (but if you can, steel yourself from playing the second game until you're at least halfway through the first). I'm fighting the urge to purchase the second game until I finish the first. For the record, I'm in Pandora's Temple, I had to buy a replacement controller (this time the official Logitech wireless one) so I hadn't touched the game for a while.
dude but the story in these games makes beating the crap out of the enemies more fun, and i suggest playing the first one before the second one even though i liked the second one better, but the first is still amazing
