You can add Grandia III,Disgaae 2,Valkyrie Profile 2,Rogue Galaxy,
.hack//G.U. vol. 1 and 2,3 in Japanese :)),but  atleast tge first one in english

They're are probably about 5 tales games that never got released in english.

 xenosaga, dark cloud, wild arms 3, megaman x command mission, and legaia 2 are all good.

I suggest you play disgaea 1&2,atelier iris,dawn of mana,ff series,kingdom hearts1&2 etc.

The PS2 was THE console for RPG's, so it's no surprise you'll get tons of suggestions. Final Fantasy X, X-2, and XII are great choices, Dragon Quest VIII is fun, Drak Cloud 1 and 2 for a semi-Zelda-like experience (That is, Zelda without the fluid combat and manually-crafted dungeons), and Kingdom Hearts I and II (Overall great Action RPG's).raditz_the_dude

i cant tell you how much i hate RPG  games , specially japanease RPG games.

RPG like oblivion and fable are an exception. 

Pretty much all the games that have been mentiond are all great, BUT!! No one mentioned Monster Hunter!... WHAT ABOUT MONSTER HUNTER?!?!MasterJosho

Unfortunately it seem MH is not popular in North America... I heard the PSP version for MH reached 1 million copies in Japan(the first time for PSP title in Japan). Hope to see more people playing addictive MH as well.

Anyway for me, DQ8 all the way for the best ps2 rpg.
