San andreas was terrible

How can you even ask? Vice city is waaaayyyyyyyyyy better, San andreas was a huge letdown I had awful graphics a terrible story, It's probably the most overrated game on PS2,while Vice city is one of the best games EVER!

They both have a charm. But if you had to draw the line, Here it is.

Vice city is a very cool 80's game. If you don't like the 80's. Then you will REALLY hate this game. The mechanises are great. But San Andreas has better game play. But the AI on the cops on this one is not that smart. Dumb cops! NO DONUT!

San Andreas is HUGE!!! The city map is very HUGE!!! Talk about L.A.. If you don't mind the gang life, Girl-fiends, and Fat jokes. This is a great game. The AI on this is improved. Cops are smarter. There is also a new mode like Gang areas to complete. Some Gangs control some areas which you can control and pick-up money for it. Plus I go for the stupit things like the cars...They can bounce. In face. there is a mission on it to. I like the sound tracks on that one. Old-School.

Both good but I love the 80's theme work they did and I favor the Vice city over San Andreas. But if Vice City wasn't 80's themed I would put my money on San Andreas for there is a lot to do! From Fighting moves and Pumping yourself at the Gym. Dating GF and ETC.

Vice City had better characters, music and storyline.

S.A is OK if your 12-14 years old and find ghetto life funny.

If this site had no moderation whatsoever some of you SA haters would have probably made racist remarks about the lower class African-American life parodied in San Andreas. Yes, I'm serious. Anyways, I hate to cloud some of your judgements VC fanboys but, VICE CITY IS A TERRIBLY OUTDATED GAME THAT IS NO LONGER GOOD. Yes I've invested hundreds of hours in VC, but it's just not that fun anymore. The map is really small and lacks geography (Miami is flat yes I know). There's no camera control with the right stick. The aiming is bad. No swimming. Tommy runs like a tard. What was so good about VC's story? It's a Scarface knock off. Athmosphere shmatmosphere, if you want real athmosphere, GO ON A VACATION! And to the one who says the music in SA is mostly rap. Go listen K-DST, SFUR, K-ROSE, The Bounce, CSR 98.3, RADIO X, KJAH WEST, and Master Sounds. Radio Los Santos and Playback are the only rap stations in the game. PWNED!2deluxe

vice city is better its just that the camera made it worse i didn't enjoy the camera gta3 or vice city just because it would make u look first person. they fixed that in san andreas but vice city is still cooler.

I agree with 2deluxe, the reason there aren't stereotypical black people in Vice City is because there ARE NO BLACK PEOPLE IN IT (except Lance Vance, who is a stereotype) infact the whole GTA series has stereotypes in it, Vice City is NO exception (why does this matter?) and don't act like stereotypical Italian Mafioso talk with a nasally New York accent is acceptable English either (Ya' dink I was gonna take the fake cash, save face, and walk away with my tail between my legs?) and no it like most GTA games are not realistic (you don't just live the good life because you killed a couple of the mobs goons). What themes you like (80s Miami or 90s west) are subjective yes, but if you liked Vice City than the only reason why you would think Vice City has better gameplay than San Andreas is NOSTALIGIA, SA has better camera control, better missions and more of them (admittedly some of them were boring), more things to do and more objects to interact with,even if you discard the 'wastelands' the game is still signifantly bigger than VC. And stop pretending like VC had better graphics than SA, crisper? Perhaps (it DID take place in a Miami like location) but SAs graphics simply own VCs.

i gotboth for like $20eanew now used ones r like $9. oh um.. i dont know they are both the same vice city better map and controls san andreas better story and graphics but i thougth vice citys missions were funner but san andreas has loads more cheats and the map is like 0 times bigger than vice citys even tho i liked vice citys more.
