What do you think would be a better choice for someone to get into guitar hero. Im guessing that Guitar Hero 1 is cheaper, and i some people say that the track list is a lot better. Then again guitar hero 2s got a 2player Co-op and a BIGGER song list. Yeah so which do you think is better to get?

I love the track list for GH1, almost all the songs for the venues are great and most of the bonus songs are too. I would say to get both, but you should definetely start with GH1.

Man I wouldn't even really play the games for their soundtracks...Especially Guitar Hero 2.But they are REAALLY FUN GAMES.And there are some cool solos.

From what i've heard, GH1 is easier to start playing GH games on then GH2, but i personally cant testify to this as I only have GH2 lol

Which ever one has more songs that you like. To me though, GH1 for song choice and GH2 for hard gameplay.

Well, if your looking for a game with a next to perfect songlist, including various classics, get Guitar Hero 1. If your looking for a game with great multi-player options, diverse songlist, and insane difficulty, get Guitar Hero 2. I suggest reading my reviews on both games, they will explain my position more thoroghly.

I found it easier to learn and complete one first, as its harder to go back to the different hammer on pull off system of GH1 than to beat it then move up to GH 2.

I played GH2 before GH1, and as a result, GH1 seemed really easy. Even on the hard modes. But it has better songs than 2, which has a lot of awesomely bad covers of songs that weren't so great to begin with. That said, I like GH2 better than 1 because the gameplay's better (more challenging.
