Guitar Hero 3?

How bad do you want Guitar Hero 3 on a scale of 1 to 10? Are you going to pre-order? Why do you want (or not want) Guitar Hero 3?

Personally my want for it is about 8.7. I played the first 2 (never bought them), and I loved them. I'm going to pre-order as soon as I get $90, BTW if you order from Gamestop.com it is $90 for game, guitar, and poster of Slash.

The developers have changed but they could still use that stupid studio they hired to make such horrible covers. By the way their name is Wave Group, some low level music company based somewhere in Northern Cali, far from the real talent found in New York, Memphis, and Los Angeles.2deluxe

Plus the whole stereotype of GF/DM being only J-Rock is easily shot down. Those superior games pretty much any genre that has guitars and drums. You have the metal, soft rock, cheap pub rock covers, jazz, a little pop, garage, bossa nova, some ethnic tunes from different parts of the world. ska, etc. Everything under the sun is included and that's why the games are almost ten years old now.

This is why Guitar Freaks/DrumMania would have to be gutted completely out of its soul if the games came to this side of the world to be marginally successful. The standard American gamer pallette isn't as sophisticated and cultured as other parts of the world. You need to feed them the same stale crap over and over to buy it. I'm quite happy importing, I sleep well at night that my next door neighboor is stuck with generic crap like Guitar Hero while my PS2 has IIDX RED inside.
