i was just thinking about how guitar hero rocks the 80's is being sold for 50 bucks. i personally think that for a game that is pretty much just an expansion they should charge less. maybe 30 or 40 dollars. does anyone else feel the same?
Best Buy = 40 bucks!SimpsonFan0505
Still not worth it. The most I'd pay for it is $30, tops. I'll probably get it when it's $20.
IMO it's not... I love the GH series but tbh there's only what, 5-6 worth songs?? No way jose!! You better wait a couple of months and get GH3, now that game will have better stuff.
I'm getting it because I Love the 80s and for $25 (or even $40) it's worth it because I'm playing less per song that I want to play than I did for GH2. $15 GC and the pre-purchase Wristband are icing.chrth
You're paying less because you're getting less.

In my opinion, I'm getting more. There's only about 7 or 8 songs I bother playing now in GH2. I don't care about the unlockable songs, and pretty much any song past 1990 is after my time (that one Nirvana song was kinda fun though).[QUOTE="GreenGoblin2099"][QUOTE="chrth"]I'm getting it because I Love the 80s and for $25 (or even $40) it's worth it because I'm playing less per song that I want to play than I did for GH2. $15 GC and the pre-purchase Wristband are icing.chrth

Because I could easily say I'd end up playing about 4-5. That's why I'm not getting it.

Let me look at the list real quick ... I'd say I'm really excited about 15 songs, that's half of the tracks. And I'd say I'll still be playing at least 10 of those in a few months (along some others that I won't know I like until I've played) That's something to look forward to. Again -- I would not have paid $50. Even $40 was iffy. But throw in a $15 Gift Card, and I'm picking it up tomorrow.
BTW, I recognize the fact that my age sets me apart from a large number of the posters on this forum. My reasons for purchasing are mine alone, and I understand fully if you don't care a whit about 80s music. A rental is probably a good idea though ... you might find you like more of the songs than you realize.chrth
I understand pal. I wasn't trying to mess with you at all... I was just curious. I was born in the 80's, but I guess that's a bit different from growing up in said period of time. STill, I'm not un-familiar with most songs, and that's why I say I wouldn't be as interested.
Anyway, have fun with the 80's pal.
