Yes- Splinter Cell (can't remember which- sorry!). I had saved my progress about 3 seconds before a body was found and the alarm raised... and about 15 seconds away fromthe nextcheckpoint.
I've also saved a splitsecond before a guard I hadn't noticed rounds the corner and sees my in bright sunlight. Dang.
Anybody played BoF V: Dragon Quarter, got to the final boss with 99% on the D-counter to realize you were screwed??? I just remembered I did lol
I think most people quit long before then lol._AbBaNdOn
I don't know why people says that the game sucked and that it was too hard. I thought it was great and with a good strategy all battles were just hard enough to have fun.
By this I mean have yousaved your game at a point where your are pretty much screwed and have to start the game again or if your lucky go to a earlier save. It's happened to me a few times in Hitman ContractsKrayzieJay
It happened to me with Chrono trigger (snes), Couldn't kill the final boss.
On Tomb Raider 2 for the pc (not sure about the ps versions) you could save anywhere. And I saved in the middle of the final boss fight in a place where it hits me as soon as the game loads causing instant death. And of course I only was using one save slot :Osuper_police
Something similar happened to me with that game. For some reason when I loaded the save, my character would fall through and die. Of course, I had to start the game over.
P.S. I got to the final boss and never figured out how to beat it. Then a while later I decided to go online and search for a guide. Man, I was so mad.
