If you have a fat ps2 thats your reson. They just die, I don't know the details but it happed to me so I bought a new slim one that was the main reason for bringing out the slim ps2 they found out that the old ones died. I think you can get it fixed but I think it would be better to buy the slim one because last I checked you can get a ps2 slim with 2 controllers and a game and I think something else not sure but its still a good deal. It might come with a memory card, as I said I'm not sure.
my PS2 wont read any PS1 games, that sucks! its odd because it reads PS2 CD games
too bad coz i REALLY wanna play Final Fantasy VII again and other FF games ive never played like FF8, 9 and other FF compilations that include FF4, 5 and 6 but are for PS1
