On GH3, for some reason, i can not beat the final guitar battle on hard and i'm stuck on "Cult of Personality" on expert (although i have not tryed that much)
I'm terrible at those games. Many people tell me it's because I am a guitar player.
Easy is easy enough, but the picking doesn't match what is actually happening. That throws me off. Expert doesn't work for me either, no guitar should have only on picking position and five frets. Wow, five frets somehow make up all of the notes on a real guitar--also unrealistic enough for me to not like it.
I think people should actually spend their money on a cheap starter guitar rather than pretending to play a fake one. The reward, discipline, and dexterity gained from playing the instrument are allpriceless.
and i can do expert.. but some songs are almost song failed (thanks to star powers!!! ^^)
i wish i can be a true Guitar Hero too T_T
i cant even FC the songs (i tried it even on Medium or Hard) but SERIOUSLY my hands ALWAYS shake when i do like perfect 90% of the song then *PLANK* oopps *1 note failed* most of the time 99% only on lower difficulties coz my hands ALWAYS SHAKE when im almost done on EVERY SONG T_T arrgh ^^
that's why im satisfied when i get 5stars or 3stars on a song as long as i finish the songs.. im happy with it ^_^
I play on Medium. I'm not too good at Rythm games, but you can still have fun with the game on that difficulty.
Just a question: Can any of you who are apparantly so awesome at this game (e.g. have completed every song on expert with 5 stars) actually play a real guitar?
My girlfriend slaughters me at the game. The wireless controller is now hers, and I buy her the new ones when they come out, but I haven't really picked it up since the second game with any intent. When I watch her whale on the game on 'Hard' setting I have a difficult time going back and getting three stars on 'Medium' with her watching.
I've beaten 1 & 2 on expert, and its gotten to the point where the game is just boring if I'm not doing at least hard. I just can't seem to get past Before I Forget though on expert in 3 though. I can do any other song in the game, its just that bridge (or whatever you call that part with the 2 finger chord prgressions) that keeps getting me.
well,i rock at hard but i can do some songs in expert...i have all 4 games and my favourite is gh2 (i think gh3 is the easiest one, except for the dragonforce song lol)....now ill learn how to play drums with rock band haha...keep practising
i stink at GH games. I just hate staring at thebottom of the screen watching the colors go by. It makes me cross-eyed almost. My friend owns I, II, and the 80's version. Now that he lives with me, i might start playing it more.
I've got GH and GH2, had them both for about four months now (was a little late onto the bandwagon) and Hard is probably my optimum level. I can 100% pretty much every song on Medium, but I like the challenge of Hard. Sadly, the difficulty curve from Medium to Hard is a little TOO steep for me, so I can't FC most songs (especially ones with quicker hammer-on/pull-off sections).
Still love the series though. Can't wait to get GH3! :)
