8.8/10 it certainly has a lot of replay value after finishing the game there are a few unlockables, i don't know if it would last you a month it lasted me about 2 and a half weeks, it's a challenging fast paced game, if your up for a challenge im sure you would like it
Your perpetual bumping is annoying me; Why are your bumps only 10-25 minutes apart? To punish, I won't answer your question. I think Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil for the PS2 is a great NAMCO platformer. My personal favorite is the original PSOne game, though - The ending is quite surprising and definitely worth seeing if you enjoyed playing the game. I find myself going to back to both games often - The gameplay's original and fun, the art styles cute, and it's a rewarding play.

I'd easily give DMC3 an 8.9. Almost a 9.0, but not quite on the same level as MGS2/3, the FF series and such, but reason enough to purchase and keep. I have both the original DMC3 and the SE edition, and I must admit the difficulty level from the original is a vastly more satisfying experience. I got the SE edition solely because of the additions (in particular the Virgil role). I suggest you get the SE edition if you decide to buy the game, but instead of starting on easy mode (which was modified), start on normal mode, the equivalent difficulty level of "easy mode" in the original DMC3, which is the normal mode in the Japan edition, if you are a bit stingy on difficulty. Better yet, start on hard mode in SE = normal mode in the original = hard mode in the japanes edition.
the difficulty feels overwhelming in the beginning only because you're just learning how to play. its not that hard once you get the hang of it. it becomes really fun when u do. also special eddition lets you continue when you die (if you pick gold mode before starting a new game) instead of redoing the whole level each time. thank god for that... great action. the gameplay is amazing. graphics could be better but who cares. the story's good too. id rate it an 8.8/10. it has lasting value but it wont take you a month. i beat the game in a week. i still come back and play it every now and then. it has good extras. i recommend it to anyone who likes action adventure games
I would rate the game with a 8.2/10. Nice graphics, cool characters, nice boss fights, good weapons, not really a long game though. It's one of those games that's definitley worth getting and one you'll play once in a while after beating it a couple of times, especially the SE version with extra content.
The game didn't work for me simply because it was too fast paced. You must better your character by "purchasing" new skills and weapons with the points you earn and those points are more plentiful if you finish the levels faster and use more combinations. For my 40 year old tired hands and brain that was just a little to much intensity for me.
I found God of War to much more to my liking. I like to explore a bit and not feel constantly pressured to run through the game at high speed.
Its great i had a great time, when u finish the game its very rewarding u kinda feel good about yourself and want to play it again and again :lol:
I think u should get the original its very challenging and fun, i dont really see why ppl say its uber hard i think its pretty normal difficulty lvl, if i want to get bored and finish the game by doing no effort at all get SE otherwise get the original.
