yea defintely get it i was playing it last week on ps3 but if you had jak3 first like i did then this game is suprisingly more difficult by a noticable amount

In that case I suggest you play the first one all the way through before the second one. The Jak and Daxter series is heavily based on the story, and you'll appreciate Jak 2 and Jak 3 a lot more if you play the first one before those two. Also, it's really difficult to go back and play the first one after playing either of the next two in my opinion.

actually, i found the first jak really boring and stopped playing it after 20 mins. i then bought Jak II after reading how awesome it is and how it's so different from the first Jak. the reviews were right. it's way better. and you do not need to play the first Jak inorder to get the other Jaks. you will be fine starting from Jak II and moving onto Jak 3.

It depends. You will love it or hate it. I sticked with Naughty Dog since Crash Bandicoot1. I loved all their games untill Jak2. Graphics are too dirty. I stopped playing after 2 first lvls- prison and suors. To tell the truth I'm happy that NG stopped producing Jak games nad started working on Uncharted trilogy.
