well at the min i'm 16, ermmmm bin playin video games a long time, not exactly sure, when did the PS1 come out, it must have been the release of that, I remember thats the first console I had
Well, since about 4 years old, I'm 23 now, that'd be years.
For those of us that are up there in age, we should comment on our all-time favorite games and consoles (Since, by this point, we've seen it all). My favorite consoles have to be NES, SNES, and PS2.
My all-time favorite games include: Secret of Mana, Seiken Densetsu 3, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time, Grand Theft Auto III, Kingdom Hearts, Klonoa, Star Tropics 1 and 2, Resident Evil 2, Snatcher, Keio Flying Squadron, and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
This is a conservative list, but it's hard to leave out the all-time greats when you've been around as long as I have. Am I right, Am I right?
I've been gaming for 27 years. My first 'console' was one of those pong machines that just had a twist controller to move the bat up and down the screen. Since then I've been through Atari, BBC, ZX81, Spectrum (all variants up to the Amstrad tape version), C64, Amiga (500 + 1200), PS1, PS2, PC and PSP. Roll on cheap PS3s so I can keep the momentum going...
My dad had an Atari (not sure which one) that I'd play every once in a while but I really didn't start playing until I got a Genesis when I got a bit older. I remember the good 'ol days of playing Sonic and Bubsy well past my bed time. So, yeah, 12 years sounds about good for me :)
