Dude, honestly this is a no brainer. You don't need a recommendation for this game, just out and buy it. I swear you hear yourself going "this is awesome" every few minutes.

it's not super long. i would say about 15-20 hours but BUY THIS GAME no matter what. I don't know if you played gow1 but if you did this should be a no brainer. if you didn't go out and buy both right now.

I haven't picked up this game yet, been busy, and will pick it up after Paper Mario, but GoW 1 was short, but one of those games I felt like I was kicking the ass out of all the baddies.  And the story, yet simple, is presented so beautifully.

Took me about 16 hours, which is not bad for a non-stop action game.  If you liked the original GOW you'll enjoy this one even more.  Plus, it has a ton of extras, so many that they had to include an extra DVD to put it on!  Here is my review

hmmm... only like 15 hours... sorry guys but that isn't worth 50 dollars no matter how awesome, also it doesn't have that much bonuses. GOW is good but its weakness is length, and for me length is a big part of games.

Not much bonuses?  I don't see how you could expect more bonuses!  Extra difficulties, costumes, movie mode where you sit back and watch all of the cutscenes, bonus challenge modes, and that's just on the game disk!  You still get an extra DVD with even more bonuses such as lost levels, interviews with the developers, etc.  Everyone's entitled to their opinion but I have to strongly disagree with you on the bonus content, plus the 15-16 hour length seems reasonable for a game with this much action.
