How much longer does the PS2 have?

We all know that ever sence the next gen conseles came out, the last gen concels were no longer a main fouces and started dying off. the Xbox and Gamecude are pushing up daisys now, but what about the PS2?

the PS2 is still alive, but for how much longer? ever sence GOW 2 came out, there's nothing left for the PS2.

How much longer do you think the PS2 will last?

Probably up until Manhunt 2 comes out, or they officially say that they have stopped total production of the PS2

The PS2 has such a large base, that it's completely believable for it to last for quite a bit. Heck I'm still buying PS2 games and I've got a X360 now.

Yeah man seriously. I haven't picked up a 360 game since last year... they just either suck are only last for 5 hours! Been picking up ALOT of PS2 and Gamecube games.

I wouldn't be surprised if it outlasted PS3, I think it has at least 2 years left in it.

i foresee the PS3 to drag Sony behind for at least one more year. maybe down to the point where Sony would start thinking about porting PSP titles to the PS2. realistically, it's kind of profitting to port 1-2 year old PSP games over to the PS2. whatever games the PSP is capable of, the PS2 can do just as well unless those games make use of those PSP exclusive attachments. but it's probably unlikely to happen. Sony wants to promote PSP sales. but a man can dream.
