I have been meaning to get a PS2 now for quite a while, but seeing as how it is still school, and I have a slew of unbeaten Gamecube games, I want to hold off until Summer. Does anyone know how much longer the PS2 will be in production?
I'd expect to see the PS2 for several more years. The original PlayStation was in production all the way until 2006, and the PS2 came out a long time ago, so expect to see it easily until 2010.
Yea, i'm sure they won't stop making PS2 games looking at the condition right now. Not until PS3 can totally blend into all gamers. You know what i mean.
At the end of this or year unless sony again drops the price and people again start the PS2. Better buy it now and buy the silver one great deal for all games coming out this year. GOD OF WAR 2, BURNOUT DOMINATOR, MEDAL OF HONOUR VANGAURD, and MANHUNT 2
Yeah, I got my ps2 back in 04 when they made the smaller one. I thought i was dumb for buying one because i thought they were about to stop making games for it. I was wrong, they're still making PLENTY of good ones like Bully, Okami, God of War and Final Fantasy XII. Even when they do stop making games you can still play the classics like Metal Gear Solid, GTA, Final Fantasies... there's so many games and they're all cheap...
