Me and a mate of mine were arguing on how to properly switch disks in the ps2. My way of doing it is opening the tray while the ps2 is on and inserting the disk then pressing the restart button. His way is to turn of the ps2, insert the disk, and turn it on again. Whats the right way?

i switch them while it's on standby mode. i have a feeling that switching it on and off that frequently will somehow harm the machine. just my opinion.

1. I always switch on/off the back main switch power

2.I never leave a game inside

3. I turn it on then I open the tray and put the game

4. When I going to swap games (after properly save it) I press the reset button and then push the open tray button.
