I made it past stage 3 in devil may cry 3!!! And i had the game set to normal!!!
I've hated devil may cry 3 since i first tried to play it. I made it to the Cerberus on lv3 and just kept getting crushed. It didnt take long for me to unlock easy mode and then to switch to it and i still got my butt kicked.I am pretty relentless when it comes to video games. I try over and over and over at something until i get it right. I faught that stupid dog for a couple of hours trying to figure out a way to beat it.I finally said screw this and took it back and labeled everyone who did like the game morons.
Well its dmc this and dmc that on these boards and I have learned that sometimes games deserve second chances. Killzone and Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles. So I got persona3 to give it a chance and DMC3(for the 2nd time). Something i didnt realize the first time is that you could save your blood orbs even if you die. So you can atleast power up your crap even if you die repeatedly. Must be one of the reasons people like God Hand, reminds them of DMC. So as you can imagine this time was able to increase my health a bit and power up my crap which makes things a tad more easier.
I thought about trying to max everything out, but that idea quickly bit the bullet, I should just plow ahead as far as i can so i can make more orbs and make it easier on myself. So me and the cerberus rumbled. I died a few more times but like right off the bat I noticed you had to knock all the ice off of him. Then i found out you could attack his legs and make him drop to the ground. Like on my 4-5th attempt i finally did it lol. I had to use a bunch of stupid healing items.
Now maybe I can crush the game. I always liked the play controls. Its just the difficulty was to high for my taste, like totally absurd but that was before i knew how to properly upgrade my guy. Ok so now I have a question. How big of a difference does your style make?? I use the default trickster. Gun/Blade master both look awesome but I really like the name Trickster lol. Should you just change styles whenever the hell you feel like it or stick with one.
Im not sure if i wrote a review for DMC3 but if I did I will probably end up having to redo it in a couple of days hehe. Now I have to choose which game to focus on. I dont want to have to keep renting both and divide up my time. That will cost to much. I think hopefully DMC3 will be shorter? I hope all the boss monsters arent as difficult as the cerberus.
