For RPGs I would suggest Suikoden 3, the Shadow Hearts series and Dragon Quest VIII. For action you should also check out the Onimusha games.celtic1962Got em already, sorry I didn't mention them earlier.
Shinobi for the PS2 is a godly title.niptuckSeanYup, got that one already too. Was Nightshade any good?
duuude how many games do you need. Anyway you don't seem to have any sports games : SSX tricky and 3 are great, Pro evo 6 is like the best game ever (fifa is awful). You could also try out somthing different like a time crysis game (with a gun of course) TC3 would be the one to get. Did u mention price of persia? sorry i can't remember, they are good games. You NEED at least one dynasty warriors game!!! 5 preferably. Return of the king is a great hack n slash. Ricko1234Duuuuude....It's not that I necessarily NEED those games. Odds are that I probably won't get through all of them. I just like having them because I know that they are good. It's nice to have a fresh game to play whenever some free time comes up. Sometimes my wife will go visit family for a weekend and its nice to be able to walk over to the shelf and grab something new that you know is good without having to go to the store and rummage through the bargain bin. Plus, I missed SO many games on the PS1 because I didn't have the money to buy them. I only made the investment if I KNEW that I was going to have the time to finish it all the way through. I wish I had gotten my hands on Xenogears and some of the other great PS1 RPG's. I'm not about to make the same mistake with my PS2. Used games are cheap and plentiful right now and I can afford to get them so I'd rather be safe than sorry. Besides, its not quite as daunting an investment as it seems. I got those 9 games for about $135. Also consider that VC Stories, SOTC, and Okami I bought new. So those three games totaled $80. The other six came to $55. I would be stupid not to buy them now.

Not sure actually, I did just buy it last week though. But I haven't had the chance to play it.
You have bought several games to keep you busy for a while.
I haven't notice any fighting games on your collection. Maybe it is not your style, but the PS2 have some really good ones, such as Tekken 4 and 5, Soul Calibur 3, Street Fighter Anthology and DBZ Budokai 3, among others.Â
I'm thinking long and hard about a fighting game. I do have a PS3 so Virtua Fighter 5 looks pretty tempting. However, the only fighting game I ever really enjoyed was Soul Caliber 2. I didn't get the third one because it seemed to be a lot like SC 2. However, those games are Weapons fighters and I'm not sure how I'll like the martial arts fightingYou have bought several games to keep you busy for a while.

In my opinion i would have to say a few good games u are missing are splinter cell double agent, Kingdom hearts 1 & 2, and Bully. Pick those ones up if u can.SoulSmasherGLI have SC Double Agent for PS3. I also have SC 2 & 3 for PS2 and SC1 for Game Cube. Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 are also in my posession. What is the deal with Bully? What is it about? Is it just a GTA mission based game set in a junior high school? Cause that sounds kinda lame.
Yo uhave not mentioned any First Person Shooters! I recommend you pick up Call of Duty 3 and Black! Trust me, you will have fun with these games. And yes, the Burnout series is great too!masood_tI did mention First Person Shooters. I said I have Killzone and Resident Evil 4 is sort of a Hybrid FPS. I also have Quake 4 for the PC and Resistance for the PS3. I have Medal of Honor (frontline I think?) and I don't really like it. I don't care for the WW2 setting. I much prefer an "alternate reality" or fantasy-type setting for my shooters. Killing aliens and zombies seems much more appealing than killing people.
I envy your collection, very impressive indeed. I was expecting this to be a hate thread or something, but I'm pleasantly surprised!
I can add a few personal recommendations, though it might be tricky getting a hold of some of these:
God Hand:- By Clover Team, who made Okami and Viewtiful Joe (also recommended if you don't have it), among others. A 3D brawler that's actually GOOD for a change. Has a funny wacky sense of humour to it, an excellent combat system, and an awesome soundtrack. Highly underrated game. Very very hard though.
Psychonauts:- An original and enjoyable platformer by the maker of Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle. Basically, you play as a kid on a psychic's summer camp, trying to rescue your friends' brains. Seeing as all the levels are inside people's minds, you see some pretty awesome and unique level designs. Great dialogue and humour also.
Shin Megami Tensei (Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2):- Atlus' flagship series. Very different from most turn-based RPGs in the setting, you play as a demon in a post-apocalyptic society. Cel-shading and gloomy music give these games an excellent atmosphere. Nocturne allows you to potentially recruit any enemy as an ally, whereas the DDS games emphasise that you eat them instead. Nocturne in particular is much harsher than your average RPG, harkens back to the brutal 'old-school' games.
killer7:- By Capcom, a part on-rails shooter, part puzzle game. Description can't really do this game justice, but I CAN say that out of the several thousand games I've played in my life (yeah, I'm a geek :P), this is one of, if not THE darkest, most original game I've encountered. The plot is, in my opinion, tied with MGS2 for the best in a video game. A love it or hate it kind of game, but very highly recommended. If you have a Gamecube, preferably pick up that version though.
That's a few off the top of my head for you, hope that helps, and I hope you recover soon!
You forgot one of the biggest platformers EVER - Jak and Daxter ! Jak 2 and 3 are also top-notch !s7aTyCI actually have Jak 2 but haven't played it yet. I bought it for my wife because she like Ratchet and Clank. Correct me if I'm wrong but the first one was just alot of running around and collecting stuff right? A true platformer. 2 & 3 are more on par with Ratchet & Clank - More of a action/platformer/shooter hybrid
In case you missed them:
-Genji (onimusha/shinobi like ) shinobido too an underrated diamond
Â
-Black, one of the best FPS PS2 titlesÂ
Â
-jaws, is kind of different gaming experianceÂ
Â
-ace combat series (watch out for heatseeker too)
Â
- Mortal Kombat Armageddon, will make you feel less "vulnerable"
Â
Wish you fast recovery, i guess its appendicitis...
Well if you have any remote interest in soccer i would, get pro evolution soccer 6, nothing gets quite as good as that game. Also, you might want to pick up soccer manager on pc, very relaxed stuff and terribly addictive nice "post surgery" game i might say. Also silent hill series, i dont thnk i saw that in your list
Â
