You'll be fine. I guess if there's any advice i can give you are, Be patient and sometimes when trying to find a colossi, try not to trust your sword too much because it can mislead you. Use the map more if you couldn't find a colossi.
There are trees all over the place with various fruits growing on them. Shoot the fruit down with your bow and collect it (circle button, I think). This will increase your health bar. The is enough fruit in the game to make your health bar huge! Also go lizard hunting. There are lots of black lizards around, but there are also some with white tails (often climbing on save shrines). Shoot the white tailed ones with arrows or hack them with your sword. When they die their tails fall off. Collect their tails to increase your grip gauge. If you manage to shoot them in the tail, it will fall off without killing the lizard, so you can come back later and it will have grown a new tail so you can get it again. Its a great game, hope this is useful.

Yeah, thanks for the info. I just started playing SotC yesterday and this should help/add extra life to the game.
It's pretty easy..like one user mentioned about the tree's increasing ur health and grip,,but its easy to finish the game without using them,i tried,,just be patient when u fight a colossus,,and when u cant find a way to get on him,,a voice will speak and a hint will appear down at the screen,, have fun:),
is this game worth buying or just renting?TigerGuy06
If you get to any collosus that you are really struggling against, get on your horse and run around for a bit avoiding attacks and eventually that strange voice kicks in and gives you quite helpfull hints, if you havent worked out how to kill it alredy.
