1) Black is a good shootemup game and really shows the power of the PS2
2) for the DDR games get the new that came out its caled DDR Super Nova and it costs $60 with the game mat if there isnt any more left but make sure you find one. Also those DDR mats dont cost way even over a 100 dollars only if you want the real arcade experience dish out a 1000 bucks for it. Also for the game choice if you already gopt Supernova either get DDR extreme 1 and 2 they both have some really great songs.
I think he meant light gun games. The Time Crisis series is a must. If you like Resident Evil I guess you could also get the Gun Survivor games, but they're not that great. I don't know if light gun games work with HD TVs, but they don't work with 100Hz TVs. Can't really recommend a DDR game. Well not one of those anyway. I only play Japanese releases. I always just find the game with the most songs I like. $20 for 2 mats is very cheap. Don't expect them to last long. I've never had problems with RedOctane pads, but some people have, so I'm not sure if I should recommend those. You should probably just look for a bundle.
