are you kidding??? FINAL FANTASY XII OF COURSE!!

that game rocks, and gamespot totally underrated it, they only gave it 9.0 when it obviously deserved much more.

If you dont beleive me just rent it and play it for a couple hours and youll know what im talking about.

About Shadow of the Collosus, I personally think its a little boring (and I played a lot of boring games). Yes, its original, so people overate it a little for that. If you dont beleive me then rent SOTC and youll knowwhat im talking about.

i suggest you buy Shadow Of The Colossus, Its very good, it takes a while but in time, you are amazed in sucha good game, they should make a second game, At First i was acting like a girl, when i played the serpent in the water, cuz you know, its kinda scary at first, but then you move along, and it gets better and better, its Way better than Final Fantasy, besides its been final fantasy ever since the first game came out, lol not so much Final.....lol

Exatly what VHMAML said, Shadow of the Colossus man.....really gets you in it... lots of Spaces, easy to understand, and very hard to find the place you can stab them, I've had Shadow Of The Colossus since 05, and still did not beat it....well truth is, i played it just a couple of days,....and now my game is in Brazil....lol

Final Fantasy XII is a very long game, so you ought to be prepared to spend hours and hours on it.

It is like with other FF games: you must spend time on leveling up, fighting random enemies on your way, thinking strategy non-stop (well...), and developing the characters yourself.

In Shadow of the Colossus you need not worry about fighting off random encounters, but instead spend your time finding ways of bringing down the only enemies you will face; giant colossuses.

In the end it depends on what you, yourself, like. I would recommend getting Shadow of the Colossus, though; it will be a nice change if you have played alot of FF in the past. =]
