actually i only have 1 problem with camera. controlling the camera becomes a sort of skill you get. when running i use my right thumb to move the camera, ( yes its possible ) and while using weapons, since you cant move while doing so and your left thumb is free i use that to move it. the only problem that i have is when your back is to a wall, and your in a tight area, the camera angle sucks horribly... like when your on the ledge in area 1 in the deset zone, perfect example. and as for the game, killing dragon like monsters with a huge sword using an assortment of bombs and traps is hella fun!

I can only talk about the single player mode.  Monster hunter was such a huge freaking let down for me.  The concept is freaking awesome but they failed miserably in making the world come alive.   The environments suck, the combat sucks, the equipment creation system sucks.   I was expecting something with the depth of disgaea where you could just use monster parts to continually get stronger but there a very short list of things you can make and once you have the best there is not a single reason to play.

Your character doesnt ever improve in stats or anything.   Its only about the crap you wear which makes the game seem very static and dull.   The stages were very small also and theres only a few places you can go.

Its more of a retarded capcom arcade game than a rpg or hunting sim.

Whatever you were planning on spending on this game give me half as an intervention fee and consider yourself lucky.

Question: Is Monster Hunter as bad as Gamespot says?

Answer: Hell no. The concept and gameplay are just awesome, and the wyverns are great fun to fight. My only complaints are the camera angle when you're up against a wall... and the amazingly annoying Bullfango...

I totally regret buying that game... to me it was a complete and total waste of money

but again that's my opinion, check my review for it

graphics aren't so great, the controls suck, the missions are repetitive, and the fun factor playing alone is almost null

Well, it's mad popular in Japan, and whoever does like the games likes it a lot. You can see that by comparing professional reviews with user reviews. But I'm gonna agree with the professional reviews. It IS as bad as GameSpot says.

IMO it's to the player. I can't say it enough but to one person a game could be the best game in the world, and to another it could be the worst. Once again I'll say that I find Morrowind and WoW are boring - why do I have them? So I can play them later
