Movie theatre and a 4-6 hour game starring that skank Ada Wang I mean Wong. It's nothing special though, and the Wii version has it with better graphics and sound.

RE4 is not survival horror. It's been universally agreed that the game is not part of that subgenre.
What is it then? Action?

The back of my game box begs to differ.you're acting like the back of the game box is 100% accurate and has all the answers.
Resident Evil 4 is a great game, but it isn't survival horror. there were a lot of parts in the game where i completely forgot it was supposed to be scary. it's just an action adventure.

To each his own. Personally, I found many parts to be rather frightening. I won't deny the fact that it is an action/adventure game/ third-person shooter, but in my opinion it is also a survival horror game. Now, I'm not an expert in those kinds of games, so don't get too upset over the fact that my view differs slightly from yours.[QUOTE="HotPeppers"]Get the playstation 2 version its awsome i own it. :lol:Worth getting? are you nuts!? Man this game is the best in the whole series! You'll play it on Easy or Normal at first, then you play it on Professional (hard), then you unlock weapons, ugrade weapons, buy over-the-limit upgrades, and, what I like about this RE more than most of the previous games is that you can shoot the enemy Anywhere in his body, instead of just aiming forward at the same angle.
Actually, RE4 is more an action game than a horror game, since thescenes are less frightening, but with more anticipation.
Bottom line: Get RE4.
You should definitely get,it one awesome game, and you will feel like getting back to play asome more after some time...
And it isnt survival horror,I'm not a big fan of the genre,I started looking at the genre onlyafter this game, but the normal survival horror is very different from this game...atleast thats how I see it after beating silent hill 1,2 and 3.This game is more of an action horror...and towards the end it becomes a complete action game...
Oh ya I've beat RE4 four times and am still playing it again.
This game is the most i've ever replayed a game. If you don't count Ocarina Of Time
I'm not one for violent games but killing zombies(Los Ganados) and mutated beasts in this game just feels right.
Question: Is Resident Evil 4 worth getting. I like the franchise but I would only get it if I can play it repeatedly. Does it have a high replay factor?Joystick_n_hand
i asked the same question last year, i found it used but in excellent condition at ebgames, i played it once only but that 20$ was definitely worth it. for a game like re4, i would spend 40-50$ for it. its that amazing, and yes the replay value is high cuz theres bonuses, missing chapters of sum sorts and yea, u can get it for 20$ american brand new actually.
