Meaning from the beginning til the end you do stealth, you must not be seen/detected every second of the game including boss battle (ex. The End in MGS 3). Or anything close to that except Splinter Cell, Hitman, Tenchu, and MGS.
you just named pretty much all of the good stealth games right there. stealth games need a release, whether it be a little comic relief or a huge action scene. i played this commandos game once, and it was all stealth, and i became uninterested very quickly
100%?not really but Metal gear is really good i sugest the firrst metal gear of ps one or watever metal gear and play it in extreme dificulty ....and splinter cellits a really good game of sthealt and its very difficult

Forbidden Siren although a horror game, has invincible enemies that you have to avoid like the plague meaning that you spend almost the whole game sneaking around.

100% stealth would be utter crap....who would do that. do everthing undetected..no fighting,no bosses...lol I know what you mean like MGS or splinter cell. you named them

Bosses would still have to be beaten, just not through common means. Just look at the SoTC game, technically youre not really fighting but does that make the encounters any less enjoyable? Tough its certainly not easy to pull off for a designer its far from impossible.
Dont most of the MGS3 boss fights involve minigames/gimmicks of sorts?
