I think something might be wrong with my PS2...First off, Smackdown Vs Raw 2007 kept freezing, and there were hardly any scratches on it...Now Test Drive Unlimited starts to get a little choppy for a few seconds, and then goes back to normal. And the other day, one of the songs in the game started skipping. And, joo know how PS2 goes...hmm..like cachooo every once in a while, like it's moving the disk around inside. Well, I was playing Hitman contracts, and it kept doing that repeatedly. And with Blood Money, it was doing it really fast and wouldn't stop. Do you think there might be something wrong with my PS2?

How long have you had the PS2 for? Fat or Slim? You can try using a lens cleaner or can of compressed air to clean the lens. If the problem is due to a dirty lens.

Also if you have easy access to the lens you can manually clean the lens with a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol.

It's a slim PS2 and I've had this one for about a year...Is that thing with the q-tip and rubbing alcohol definetaly safe?

I'm not sure how safe, but I read and heard people who have said it had solved/worked whento appliedthat solution to the problem.

Okay, so on the slim PS2, is it the little circle thing all the way in the back where you put the disc? And I don't dry it myself right? I just let it dry?

Dip Q-Tip in alcohol. Make sure its not dripping wet. Clean the lens, then let it self dry. Alcohol evaporates quickly.

Hope this helps you out.
