I have Devil May Cry 3 that I'd bought in my stack of games but I had only got past the first two levels. It was then overwhelming. Well, I played RE 4 for my Wii and loved that game, even though it was hard, I kept trying and I finally beat it. So I decided to do that for DMC, as it is an insanely hard game. I played each mission through about 12 times and I finally beat each...I've finished DMC 3!!! How many of you have done it?
Well the first time i played I hated it. After crushing a ton of other games and having nothing better to do i tried it again. I have made progress in the game but its so unnecessarily difficult. Once I clear one stage i usually take a break because like you said it usually involves several retrys. I only have like 10+ hours on my game file but its been the past 3 days off and on lol. Im on the 10th level. I think theres only 2 more ??? I just got the guitar and its pretty kool. The cinemas are sweet, the combat mechanics are great, but the difficulty and stupid programming really drags it down. I'd LOVE to make an Abbandon version of the game and see how fans react lol.
ya, i didnt think it was that hard. in general, just using sword master and going ape **** works on everything but the bosses. with the bosses, most of them can be beat by just shooting them from a distance.
Uh congrats on beating the game..... I guess. I beat it in hard mode & I'm actually half way through Dante Must Die but I stopped playing it when I got God of War 2 & then FFXII. Later, all my games, PS2 & PS3 got stolen so I can't play anymore or go back to look at my progress.
Having cleared DMC and DMC2 multiple times i flew through this game, i just love the series. The first time i played DMC3, i had rented it, 3 day rental, and beat normal, easy then hard, in that 3 day hire. the game is awesome with a Very Good combat system. SSStylish!!!

I bought the 3rd one because I played the first one when it came out and enjoyed it. Started up the 3rd one and the guy is surfing on a pizza box and doing all this other lame crap. Turned off the game at that point. I'll get back to it when I have the time, but honestly, its the worst intro for a game I've ever seen.
Did you beat the original or the SE? I bought the se but the guy at eb gave me the original disk, didn't find out till i took out the disk after retrying mission three 7 times.
congrats for those who has already beat the game....yes i already beat the game on normal mode....:D....the ending credits very enjoyable....where we still have to fight....haha...-beat the game like there's no tomorrow-
