My God, what a magnificent work of art. I loved everything about it. The setting, the characters, the survival and camoflauge techniques, and most of all the story. And the ending, well that was something else on its own. First time I ever shed a tear from a video game ending. :( And Eva, wow that was a big turn right there. Despite the fact that Snake saved her from dying out in the jungle, and despite the fact that they were in love, she was still going to kill him. And here I thought that she was the only trustworthy character in the game. :| And it the part about the Boss that got me really sad. I wont even go into that because I cant remember the entirety of it. But anyways, absolutely amazing game. If I could give it higher than 10, I would. .......... Ah what the hell, 15/10
I think MGS3 is the only game to leave me physically exhausted at the end of it. From blowing up the factory to the end was one non-stop thrill ride that never quit...I loved every second of it. Personally, I really don't like the controls and I think they could be a LOT better (MGS with Splinter Cell controls would be amazing), but they are functional and I still loved it.Â
I really didn't like the first five hours and actually quit playing for a while, but after I picked up the game again it really picked up and is now one of my favorites. Â

did you playe subsistance ? and please dont compare SC to MGS, SC is horrible compared to MGS...

It's the closest thing there's ever been to an interactive movie(and a great movie, too!). I loved the amout of options you have. That fight with The End was the most suspenseful boss fight in my life, especially when he sneaks up on you!

The End boss fight was so cool! It was just so satisfying seeing the glare of his scope, and then putting a sniper round into his head. It was so cool.
Yeah, MGS has those really good boss fights. I gotta say, MSG 3 has my favorite final boss fight. I wouldn't say the one with Ocelot is the last one, all you really do is choose a gun. That one with The Boss was sweet, just the area you were in with the white flowers. MSG2 pretty much changed my life... I thought I had that games twist figured out, lol.... noooooo waaaay.

It truly is an amazing game ........ but I wish it had been longer
Man how long would you have wanted it to be? All the ends that needed to be tied up were, and everything came together beautifully. One of the best videogame endings ever imo, it seriously enraptured me. The bosses were fun and imaginative (though I wasn't a fear of the Pain really, he didn't seem to fit too well) and the camo system gave MGS' sneaking elements a twist they never had before. I can't say which MGS I prefer over the others, they're all so good and vital to the series, but I'd put 3 above 2 if anything.
lol, yup. the way the music builds up as you're running toward that waterfall.
 I think MGS still has the best boss fights(throughout the whole game). A few guys in Boss's team were just lame(Pain, Fear) The End, the Boss, and Volgin/tank are among my favorites, but Vulcan Raven still sits at the top IMO
