Just got Marvel vs Capcom 2 for $69.99!

It took me so long to find this game but I finally found it at a Gamestop in the mall.  So do you ppl think this game is worth the money or just a waste of money???

One thing u must know is that no mater were u buy mvc 2 at it will be 60-70 bucks, its out of print and extreamly rare, And to the kid who said that it was the worst version ever, u could not be any farther from the fact. The worst version is xbox peroid, Being a tourny player in mvc2 of 5 years im telling u that if anything we prefer the ps2 version over all, simpy becasue of the bug fixes. Grats on a great purchase, u wont regret it..

I know right.  The PS2 version is the best version.  Weaker version is the XBox.  So these kids don't know nothing.  And there is no way I could find this game cheaper anywhere.  $60-70 is the cheapest because like you said it is not printed  or produce no more.

Waste of money. I got the Korean PS2 version for $15, shipping included. I got the DC version for $30, shipping included. With the money one would spend on the PS2 version, one could buy a DC and the DC version of MvC2.
Also, DC version is the only console version that's arcade perfect.

Yeah, right, PS2 best version...
Bug fixes? Yeah, right... messed up alpha counters, messed up timings for combos, move properties changed, tournament legal stuff removed, etc.
DC version is the best one, it's the only version that's arcade perfect. That's the reason every tournament uses the DC version.

Stop trying to reasure yourself and make yourself feel better about the 70 bucks you wasted. Just because a game is rare doesn't maen its good. 

When did i say i payed 70 bucks for it..... i bought it at realese on the DC. If u really want to play mvc2 ur not gana get it for less than 60 dollars unless u find it at a hand me down store.And the fact is, that its a great fighting game.

And for the person who said, the DC version is the perfect version form arcade, ur right.... but as for the comments u made about the alpha counters and such.... i dont know were u got that from. I was talking about such glitches and bugs like bb hood glitches with venom or with amingo or shuma, and much more, the Ruby heart game freeze or flee, Gambit screen jump flee, comando grab glitch, spiral grab glitch, shuma grab glitch. If u knew, than u would have known that those arent allowed in the tournies. The only thing the ps2 version offers, is different character select screen placement, and a sharper resolution, everyhing else is still intact that would make a difference in tourny game, and quite frakly i dont think the guy who bought this game is a hardcore mvc2 player, and as well i dont think hes gana buy a DC, Arcade stick and MVC2 for DC, over one purchase of mvc2 for ps2. The ps2 controller is MUCH more convenient and comfortable for fighting games. Especially for a casual player.

 Stop hating because I could afford this game & you can't.  This is one of the best 2D fighting game ever.  You probably don't even play fighting games with that Vicent avatar. Plus where else could I get this game for cheaper???  There is no way you could find this game cheaper than $70 in a store.

I know exactly what you say.  I always wanted to play MVC2 so I don't mind paying that much money for it since it is rare to find it.  Plus I've already play all of those fighting games you named.  The only one I don't really like is Soul Caliber.

Well, it depends if you're a fan of this game.  If you're a huge fan of course you would chip in that much money just to get it.  MVC2 can't be anymore cheaper than $60-$70.  Unless you buy it from a friend who sells it for cheaper.

i bought Marvel Vs Capcom 2 when it came out but i didnt like it and to me its not that great. i think Capcom VS SNK 2 is way better  Marvel VS Capcom 2 is really slownamcoman67
