Just picked up Killzone from EB for $20.00 brand new. They had it in the bargain bin @ Zellers for $30.00 and I came close to buyin it, but something told me look around. Still havent played it yet coz my friend is too busy playing God Of War on MY ps2:\

Anyways I saw Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 layin around for relatively cheap too. Should I get them or is it best to play MGS1 first? Ya think the collectors pack will be cheaper than buyin them used/new from the store?
Also what about Time Splitters 2? Saw it for less then $10in amom n pops clothing store, used.Would playing the first one make it a better experience?

Also, What are some good deals you have gotten through the used games/bargain bin

You don't have to play MGS1 to enjoy the others, but it will clear up a lot of things, and MGS2 has a convoluted plot so you've been warned. I personally think MGS1 is the best though. Definetly buy MGS 3 if you can only get one out of the two.

I don't usually buy used games..

Don't buy used games!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!

They're the best way to go, I mean for 10 bucks they're gonna have to be opened sometime right?

Definitely play MGS1 before MGS2. Metal Gear Solid 2 is constantly throwing references to the first game, so it behooves you to play it. If you don't care about story though, you'll be fine. (You should care about the story though, it's kinda insane)

I got Panzer Dragoon Orta, Beyond Good and Evil, and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath for under $10, but my favorite deal was $3 for Jet Set Radio Future at Gamestop.

I know the bargain bins in the game stores is great! I just bought 8 games for about $30! Their all older games, but their all decent/good games. I got Madden 2003, ESPN NFL 2k5, Backyard Wrestling, Wild Arms 3, Red Faction, NFL 2k2, Max Payne and Max Payne 2! And last week I got abunch too. It's nice to have the newer games, but why spend 30-40 on a newer game, when you can get the older ones and more of them?

Definitely pick up MGS2 and 3 if you can. It'll be best if you play through the original MGS at some point, but you don't want to miss 2 or 3 either. TimeSplitters 2 is a fun shooter - especially with 3 other players and a ton of bots running around.

The best deals I've found are MGS2 for $6, Eternal Darkness for $8, Star Wars: KotoR for $10, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando for $10, and ZoE: The 2nd Runner (pretty hard to find now) for $18.

that reminds me...i gotta keep an eye out for Red Faction.

Man Killzone is harder than I expected. I never played a FPS where you had to use cover and stuff. Im constantly gettin merked man :\ Turok and Perfect Dark n Goldeneye havent prepared me at all for this, lol. Its a welcome challenge tho

since nobody has commented on Timesplitters 2, you should get it. It has a lot of replay value, there are a lot of missions and goals and stuff. Plus, there are shotgun carrying ducks and stuff...

I think when they have games like Madden and other old titles for $1 you can't pass that up. I mean Madden is a great franchise. It's not like some crappy undermade rushed game. I know their all pretty much the same game, but $1! You can't beat that! I think Max Payne 2 was only $1.50

Brand new for just 10 euro a pop
Normal minimum price is about 15 euro wich is reserved for the crappy budget titles and ports

I'm all about the Bargain Bins 'cuz the next-gen consoles are worthless for the time being, and all of those games I wanted but wasn't going to shovel out $40-$50 for are now $15 or less... I'm cleaning up for my XB lately, paying $10 for "Riddick", $3.99 for "Deus Ex: Invisible Wars", $6 for "Unreal Championship II", $3.99 for "Crimson Skies"... PS2 I got "Hunters: Wayward" for $5, "Star Wars: Starfighter" for $3, "Bard's Tale" for $9.99, "Sub Rebellion" for $6, the list goes on and on... GC titles are a little harder to come by but I still pick up stuff like "Buffy: Chaos Bleeds" for $10, and copies of "Resident Evil 2", "RE3: Nemesis" for similar prices...

I'm NEVER gettin' a next-gen... Who needs 'em?
