May anyone list any good hack n' slash games for the ps2? I need to find a game like the devil may cry series, with the stylish jump attacks and combos. Under the budget of $20 EXACTLY. Thanks

Anyway to answer your question. If you're looking for hack and slash you can't go wrong with Devil May Cry.

tenchu is nothing like DMC, tenchu is a stealth game DMC is not, the closest to DMC would be bujingai or Genji

DMC sucks. I'd recommend Drakengard 1-2, Dynasty Warriors 5/dw5 empires, and samurai warriors 2/sw2 empires. sw2/empires is the most recent version of the dynasty/samurai games but you a whole different cast of characters in dw5.

I'd recommend either Drakengard also but 2 if you're only getting one. Also you can pick up any Dynasty Warriors or Samurai Warriors and start into it easy and it's basica hack and slash. Those are my choices for cheap.

you should get God Hand, iirc it's only $20 now, and imo it's the best action game to date, right behind DMC3 :D

I'm planning on buying special edition for dmc 3 again. The first time I bought it was hell, right when it came out, and I couldn't beat the first boss D:
