Mario kart for PS2?

I know that despite Nintendo owning the exlusive rights to the Mario franchise, it would be impossible for mario kart wii to get ported to the PS2. But still wouldnt it be nice if that would happen? Afterall, not everyone likes the wii controlers, and not everyone is fond of the stirring wheel that is going to accompany the game.

I know it is a a very futile point to argue over, but can anything be done to bring Mario Kart (wii) to the PS2?

better play crash team racing, from psp, it's better than the others crash, at least from my point of view...Chajal

I honestly can't believe I read that. That question is...well...dumb. Even MENTIONING that you wish they would put Mario Kart on the Playstation should get you banned from playing video games.

And with that, no. It will NEVER happen. Maybe Crash Bandicoot would show up on the Wii, but no Mario on the PS2. (If it can happen to Sonic, it can happen to Crash.)

Sony never owned the rights to Crash Bandicoot, they just published the games. I think Universal owned it since the very beginning (and currently still do). Naughty Dog worked on the games as the developers. Now Universal has other developers working on the series.

Mario Kart on the PS2 impossible? Not the original snes version via questionable software.;)
