I have this game, and i loved playing it ! But i never got to finish it, because my ps2 scratched it to death=( That was so frustrating, because it's simply the best ps2 game ever made i think. Anyways, i defeated Ocelot, The Pain, and the one who was climbing in the trees, and could make himself invisible. Don't remember his name tough. But, shortly after this, it wasn't playable anymore. So i would just like to know, how did the story go on from here ? :)

The climbing freak was 'The Fear'. As for the story, you should get another copy of Snake Eater (it's cheap) because you should play the story instead of hearing it, in my opinion.

You really, really should play it. I found it in a gamestop for $7 like two days ago. I HIGHLY recommend Subsistence because the camera makes the game at least a full review point better, and the online mode is absolutely fantastic. I don't know how much it's selling for, but I bought it the day after it was released for $30. You owe it to yourself to finish this game.

Well, in the end, The Boss was just playing double agent, she sacrifices herself for the US. Of course she dies, by the hands of Snake. In the end, only Snake sees her as a true hero while the rest of the world will never know of her heroic feats. The busty lady spy you meet isn't working for America, she's a spy for China who wants the Philosopher's Legacy.

yeah, just buy a new copy of it, the original is dirt cheap by now, but if you can, buy subsistence instead, it's not that much more.

And Ocelot reveal himself as a CIA agent who is doble crossing the rusian government. Also he manage to give the China government a fake copy of the Philosopher's Legacy, using EVA.

I see alot of you guys say i should buy a new copy, and i would. But i can't , because my ps2 is **** That's why it killed this game, and 2nd replacement copy i got =/ So i guess i'll never get to play through the whole game..which sucks ! I don't feel like spending $200 on a new ps2, and i'm out of warranty..so, i'm screwed.

As many have already said, get this game and finish it. It's worth the time and money.

Then go to a friends house with a copy of it.... ? Or save up and possibly get a PS3.... ? Those are my suggestions.
