MGS3 Intro Movie?

I just recently picked up a used copy of MGS3: Snake Eater. However, when i pop it in, an intro movie (example: the one that plays at the beginning of MGS2 with the theme playing in the background) doesn't come up, just the screen showing snake kicking the crap out of some poor defenseless guards with the "press start" command. am i not waiting long enough for the movie to play, or does it appear later on?

when you press new game? because when i do that, it goes straight to the airplane jump segemnt. is that the only type of intro, or is there another intro movie that just plays at the title screen eventually?BlackArts_Viper

After you complete the first part of MGS 3... you'll get another intro with the song Snake Eater. You can play with it like changing the background colour, have images popping up etc...

Once you complete the entire game and save it... The Snake Eater intro will be play every time you load the game up.
