ok look i gots a question my ps2 will play some dvds and some the disk just wont spin ...same with my cdss andbody no wtf is goin on ..anywya thanks for the help

Your PS2s lense could need cleaning. Watch what products you use though. Some are NOT meant for a gaming console.

opening up the big one is easy....just unscrew the screws and keep the cover next to the ps2...easy

Opening it is a LAST resort. I did that once, and trust me. It's too much trouble. Go to EB Games or GameStop. They sell cleaners there.

I really wonder how a ps2 is suppose to read a cd-lens cleaner when its having troubles reading cd's in the first place. Nevertheless, mines did after a few tries..

i just had to open it up and clean my lens, and a WHole of alot of crap was in there imagine 6 years worth of crap dust and dirt amazing it worked well after cleaning

I've found that the older models (the ones that FIRST came out. lol the older models of the older models) tend to suck a lot of dust into the system.

i had my fat ps2 since launch... i never cleaned it... oh crap... oh well it still works ;) its really noisy though, sounds like a fridge.
