Hey everybody my copy of 7 went to hell and I need to find a new copy. Anybody know any auction sites that dont' sell by rarity rates? I was just on ebay and its like anywhere from 70-200 bucks for a copy. Any suggestions, besides give up or give in because no game is worth that kind of price.
Well the first 6 major entries have been revived in some form. Its only a few years from now that the next three will show up sooner or later on most likely a portable hardware.

Ebay is your best bet, and you probably wont find it cheaper.
I bought a copy a month or so ago off ebay by finding it in a lot of 5 or so games. It was like $55 shipped.
It's all how you search. If you only look for FFVII alone it's going to be bidded up high. Find it buried with some other stuff and you'll probably do better, cause not many will find it. Search for PSX Lot or PSONE LOT
The other games were pretty cool too - it had pretty much every FF game prior to 7.....FF Chronicles, FF Origins & FF Anthology along with GT2(?) and some other stuff.

Ebay is your best bet, and you probably wont find it cheaper.
Ebay is ridiculous with the cheapest copies being around 80 bucks and with brand new copies at 200 a piece...I don't care how good a game it is, like I said it isnt' worth that kind of cash.
That or go to thrift shops, flea markets, pawn shops and see if they have any. Sometimes you can find gems in these places. I have found extremely rare games for dirt cheap in past.

Ebay is your best bet, and you probably wont find it cheaper. I sold an unopened non greatest hits version for over $500.

I just found a deal on e-bay for FFVII, VIII, and IV together for 79.99. Seems like a pretty good deal (by ebay standards, anyways) if you're looking for all three. I can't post the link because it's too long but the name is: Final Fantasy VII,VIII,IX (ps1,ps2,ps3), FF7,FF8,FF9
