****over/under rated thread****

i want to no what games ppl think are over/under rated on the ps2

overrated-Resident evil 4(not that great)

underrated- DBZ games (that are actually quite funny to play if ur a fan or not)

underrated- Black (in gs score at least)

Overrated- I have to go with GOW as well. Although I did enjoy the game very much but it wasn't all that.

Underrated- Okami. Although allot of people in this forum and this site do give okami the recognition it deserved but overall, it is really underrated for being too original (graphics) or too Japanese.

It always hurts when people say that games like GOW,DMC3 and FFX are overrated.

Overrated: Final Fantasy XII (huge dissapointment)

Underrated: Red Dead Revolver and Scarface.

FFX - There was nothing to keep me interested. It just got old.

Okami - Now please don't take this the wrong way, because I enjoy the game very much, but I'd say the game is an 8.7 at the most.

WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2007 - The ultimate control moves are great

Prince of Persia: Warrior Withing - It might be a different tone, but its still a solid action title and very well done.

i couldnt agree with you more

over-rated : champions return to arms , king kong the official game , warcraft 3 , age of empires , nba ballers , shinobi .

under-rated : black , bad boys 2 , call of duty 2 , conflict desert storm 2 , crash 4 , dynasty warriors series , fifa street 2 , san andreas , hitman series ( contracts and blood money ) , kingdom hearts 2 , metal gear 3 , need for speed underground 2 and carbon , onimusha series , pokemon ( for gameboys ) , rise to honor , splinter cell series , x-men legends 1 & 2 , prince of persia series .

-notice : all games for the ps2 except of those : age of empires 2 and pokemon .

WAY OVERRATED: WarCraft (all of the series), final fantasy (all of the series) Overrated: Pong (seriously... not that big a deal... I don't care if it was a pioneer of gaming) Underrated: StarCraft, Diablo SeriesGeneralGeorge

Starcraft is considered to be the greatest RTS ever.

How is that underrated?

And Warcraft 3 is awesome.

Overrated - FFX (could have taken naps through all the movie sequences)

Underrated - Black and Scarface

Overrated - God of War. I've only played a demo of it which went up to the hydra battle, and it might get better, but from what I hear, the Hydra is the peak of the game, and if I've played the peak of the game, it's not worth being posted in every 'best game ever' and 'what single game should I get' thread, and it's definitely not good enough for people to post it in 'what RPG/driving game/platformer do you recommend, like I've seen some people do.

Underrated - Shadow of the Colossus was incredible, and I felt it was a helluva lot better than 8.7, though many people do recognise it as up there with the very best in forums. Also, I'd give Hitman: Blood Money and Canis Canem Edit higher scores than GameSpot did.

Overrated-Grand Theft Auto (Jump off of it)

Underrated-DBZ Budokai games are underrated in my personal opinion.

Overrated-Ocarina Of Time,ff12,GoW,God Of War.

Underrated-Okami,Obscure,Fatal Frame 3,ummmm...... Onimusha Dawn Of Dreams :P

Overrated: God Of War

Underrated: Escape From Monkey Island
