What kind of device do i need to play my ps2 on a laptop monitor? And, do i need a high end PC in order to play? Here are my laptops specs: Intel Centrino, Pentium M processor, 14.1/15.0 XGA TFT LCD, ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 with 64MB VRAM, 512MB DDR SDRAM. I got this laptop a few years ago, so it's not that great, but it does the job. Please help.
I do that, you dont need the best desktop or laptop to do it. Its really conveinant if your like me and run everything through your computer but I digress. You only really need 2 things:
1)A TV Tuner card, you can usually get one for 15 or 20 bucks at a computer store
 2) You need an adapter for the component wires to your PS2 which can be kind of tricky to locate. But it shouldnt be very expensive.
Once you get these things just install and hook up your PS2, if you have more questions just drop me a line and I can help
It's not a whole lot better... actually I think a regular television is much better.Argantir
Don't forget road trips though. A slimline would be pretty convenient slid in next to a laptop in your backpack, and would be way more fun than license plate bingo.
