That depends ....... if MGS4 , DMC4 or Tekken6 get a 9+ rating from Gamespot , and if Sony slashes the price of the PS3 by 10%{or more}, I'll definately get the PS3 by next year .
I already own a Wii and my younger brother saved for a while to buy a 360, so I guess I already have gone next gen, though at the current moment if you take out Oblivion I'd hardly say that the 360 qualifies as next gen.
I have to be honest but I like the amount of games that the ps2 and the xbox have out there now. I guess I will be upgrading in the future but not now. I think the xbox 360 prices are dropping to the point where I will be considering it. The ps3 is way too expensive now and there are not enough games that I would want but as soon as the price drops I will be buying one.
Not at this current rate. All three "next-gen" are very poor IMO. Even worse for the 360 where its had over a year and it still fails to impress me (stupid achievement gimmicks and lackluster games). Ask me in two years or more when the games become the main priority, not constant updates or gimmicks such as downloadable shows and movies, YUCK!
