PS2 Games getting Worse

The PS2 games are going to get worse because the PS3 pricedrop, gain popularity and good games. My favorite PS2 games like tekken series and virtua fighter series have abandon the PS2 and went strictly with PS3. And the ps2 games are going for $20-40 bucks nowadays. PS3 games are going for 60 bucks! Companies figure the money is gonna be with PS3. Before the PS3 didnt have good selection but that is changing now. I dont see many companies still working with the ps2 because of the people buying into the newer generation consoles. The PS3 is still too steep at $399 or $499 for me. Better graphics and better sound doesnt necessarily make better games so I will hold off on the PS3 and still play the PS2. Right now, I see lot of great graphic gamesbut lame gameplay with the PS3. Personally, I dont think the PS3 will ever have the success that PS2 had and get the amount of great PS2 games.

Save urself and buy a 360 or games like yuo gi oh, naruto, samuri ninga blah!!!!!blah!!!, r gonna make u mad.

ACCEPT THAT THE PS2 IS DEAD. Buy a 360 and play games like bioshock, assasin's creed etc...

PS2 is not yet dead. It will stay alive until no one is buying it and its games anymore.

I live in India and the price of X-Box 360 is Rs.20000-28000 which is unaffordable.ps 3 costs Rs.40,000 which is big money.I cant afford it.AThe games that are releasing for ps2 are all bad and lousy.This is the end of PS2 and Ps2 games.:(

I also live in INDIA..I guess its time u move onto 2k8 as X360 used to cost so much sometime in begining of 2k7..i live in BANGALORE..X360 just costs 14990 and a ps3 24990..wait for another3 monthsps3 will come downbelow 20k m sure..

I'd say the PS2 has 'til 2010, but no more.

Said that, it's not a sing of going "dead", it has tons of games to back it up. Hell!! if I didn't had a PS2 right now, I'd still buy one.

PS2 has BY EMBARASSINGLY FAR the greatest library of FUN titles, screw resolution, FUN dammit, of all the consoles. It is here to stay. It will eclipse even the SNES as the all time temple of gaming gods. It costs 100 bucks, comes with network support, optical audio outs, and you can hook it up to your flatscreen with composite cables and turn down the sharpness for a lovely look.

Puh-leeez.. if you want to buy next gen just do it. But don't kid yourself into thinking the PS2 is dead.

You could also think about not coming in here to bolster your self esteem and buyers regret. We don't care what you bought. We are too busy playing God Of War.

The great thing about PS2 is that there are a ton of great games. PS2 will always have more and better games than the PS3 and XBOX 360 combined. Will they continue to make great games like they used to? Probably not but PS2 users can always check the bargain bin and find some great game that they havent played before. The PS3 has some good games but most of their games stink still. All graphics and sound but little gameplay. I won't be getting a PS3 until I see lot more great games in the +9.0 range and THEY BRING BACK THE RUMBLE CONTROLLER WITH THE SYSTEM.

im not dissing the ps2, or its hitsory, i am a pround owner of one. God of War is a great game. But the fact is that were not getting those kinds of games no more.
