So its that time when I stop using my PS2. Sad day indeed. *Grins @ PS3*

So be it that I was one of those silly people who played FFXI on PS2.

After a rigerous google search I have come to my wits end.

Does ANYBODY know how to use the PS2 HDD in a PC?

I know how to hook it up and all, not really that hard. Its just those silly jumpers. I have not the slightest clue as to which jumpers make it a slave.

Any ideas or links I could try out on my quest for an extra 40g HD to hold more random crap I like to download?

Thanks! :D

Its a normal internal parallel ATA. Just like any run-o-the-mill HD.

I also remember seeing pictures of people hooking up their PS2 HDD to a normal PC and using it as a well... normal HD. The only downside is I couldn't figure out how.

Supposedly nothing special is required. Just hook it up and go. Its just them jumpers I really don't know about.

Also, the HD says its a Sony on one side but a few chips say its made by Agere. Any clues?
