Clean the lens, Take the consoles away to get serviced, open up the consoles to see whats dislodged etc, replace them and get a new one. Oh and sometimes the voltage supply for the Lens could be in need to adjusting so they can read disks again.
ps2 have been out for along time...... get yourself a ps3 =D $400 40GB PS3 and Spiderman 3 Blu-Ray but to bad no Backwards Compatibility but you can get a 60GB for $450 with backwards compatibility.
ive had the same playstation 2 since 2001 and to this date have no problems...i remember dropping it twice.....but it held through..and whenever i insert a disk back in...i push the buttton.....and most people push the drive in
The 360's are definitly not perfect if you ask me! The CD Drive cracked my disk in half a few months ago! So i had to get a new 360 with teh new game it broke...
But other than that, i got my PS2 Christmas 2002 and still working just how it was since i gave light to it from its prison box.
You're buggin...because your systems stopped working, they're not perfect? Truthfully, no piece of electronics is perfect...they're electronics, they will have faults and sadly enough eventually stop working unless you know how to properly maintain them...
This is so dumb what i'm about to say won't seem out of place.. soin contrast to what the OP saidnothing is perfect because of that microscopic fraction of a chance an alien will fly down and urinate antifreeze down your neck just as u'r carrying it down a concrete flight of steps? ;]
