ps3 dont stand a chance against ps2!

ps2 is the BEST selling console ever! it's Soo popular that everyone has a ps2 in my town! i dont think that ps3 would reach that level of popularity it's damn X-pensive and the games are...+*(&*^&%^! i know there will be good games 4 it, but NOT good and as many games ps2 has! ps2 is a Living Legend with Millions of supporters, still Nobody i know has a ps3 and ppl rather play the new games on ps2! plus the games are 5 times cheaper and as good lookin! I cant imagine ppl givin up their ps2 soon maybe after 3 years...well will see :) right?greekboy1981

Well, Xbox 'n GC are pretty much both dead and buried now. That is, at least my local gaming store has gotten rid of everything Xbox and GC, but PS2 shelf takes alot of space. PS3 is expensive and neither PS3 or 360 has many good games out, yet. PS2 is cheap and has a bunch of good/great games, so yea why not go with that.

But fact is PS2 is dying, its just tougher to beat. And that was a pretty lame joke; ps2 games 5 times cheaper (yea maybe so in some cases) and as good lookin graphics as ps3 (f-k no).

I totally agree. I sold my 360 a while back and was ashamed that I had neglected my PS2. There is still tons of great games on it and coming out for it. It's a fantastic system that will go down in history.TheXboxgamer73

Agreed. I would add that PS2 will remain best selling console, but PS3 is waaaaaaay better in performance lol!

3 Things: 1: PS3 hasn't even had a chance to show what it's truly made yet, and is like a new born child just learning to walk, it will take time with the new PS3 HARDWARE. 2: There are great games comming out for ps3 that will really make the ps3 shine among the other systems. 3: You're post is full of contradictions.P-r-e-y

3 Things

1: Stop hating ,man

2. Most games comming to ps3 which were thought as "exclusives' are now comming to 360 also, big hit there...(E.X. Assasins Creed, Gta 4, DMC 4, RE5 and a couple of others)

3. It costs double the price of 360 and almost triple the one of the Wii, thats a pretty big price tag for a system that doesnt have a single AAA game(that is an exlusive). (sireously, even the Wii has its Zelda) Out now the only good game for it is resistance, I mean exclusive game, so dont say oblivion...

I still hope we will see more better games from the system, and that sony will finally drop the price to a more affordable amount. Blu Ray was a good idea, but people dont buy game systems to watch movies, they buy them to play games... Hopefully sony will make some other masterpiec, like GoW that will really sell the system. Untill then its for the Wii-n with the 360...
