Many people can't afford the Ps3 or it hasnt even come to where they live. Will all the Ps3 games that many PS2ers dream about come to PS2, should they?
I'm sure we'll still be seeing some multi platform games but probably less than usual. Unfortunately for me, there's not that many games I have interest in yet for PS3. I'm waiting for RPG's mostly.
I think some games shouldn't be ported to PS2, simply because they may not make the translation well and it will give me something to look forward to play on PS3... Theoretically.
Hopefully. Well as one post already mentioned that some games will be for both format... Games like EA's fifa series will definitely be out for the ps3 and the ps2. Whereas for the higher spec games like FFXIII and MGS 4 will obviously not be available for both format.
Nope....ps3 games are actually way different then ps2 games. fight night round 3 for ps3 compared to fight night round 3 for ps2 are completely different looking. Same with cod3 for ps3 and cod3 for ps2. it just wouldnt be worth putting a ps3 game onto ps2

I just read somewhere that the developers figured out that PS2 has much more power than PS3 in every aspect,and that every PS3 game is canceled and now they are making all the games for the PS2.MGS4 will come on 23,4 dvd's,FFXIII will be on 36 dvd's,Warhawk on 6,Killzone 2 on 17,i don't know about other games.Killzone 2 will have the best loading times and it will take only 1h 15min.
I know the PS2 has alot more power in it, than what it boasts out for the games that were released so far... I want to tell EVERYONE who thinks that PS2 is gonna die, and no more games are coming out, that YOU ARE WRONG.....
The PS2 has ALOT of potential, the deveopers havent pushed it to the max yet... for all the games i have playd on my PS2, the CPU was only running about half speed, AND... only 2 games that I know of, have used Dual Layer DVD's... the future games that will come out for PS2 will most likely use Layer switch, for much better looking, much bigger games... so all you Sony FANS, dont lose hope just yet... PS2 hasnt been pushed to the limits yet... :D
