Is it worth purchasing Resident evil 4 for the PS2 for the extras since I already own the Gamecube version.

Besides a few updates, the PS2 version doesn't really offer much in terms of new content.  You're better off staying with the Gamecube version, considering that it looks and controls a bit better.

I think the Cube version is superior, even with the extras the PS2 has. When you put the games side by side, there's A LOT of graphical difference. Now I'm usually not big on graphics, but a game like RE4 really needs to look it's best. Those 6 hours of bonus content you get aren't worth it.

If you already have the game on GC then I wouldn't suggest buying the same game just for the extra contents. Well, Unless you are a big RE fan.

Really? Six hours of extra content? I thought it was just a few costumes and an Ada sidequest that was just an hour or so. I enjoyed RE4 so much I just might get it for the ps2.

Yep, I'd say it's about a 5-6 hour sidequest. I really enjoyed it too, because it exposes you to different parts of the levels.

absolutly not. rent it, beat it. play the side missions. i beat every side mission and got all the extras, and i don't play it at all, in fact i'm sick of that game. it's fun and all but i don't see the point
