RE4. Beating Krauser

So, has anyone beaten Krauser on the hardest difficulty? Can it be done? How? I've managed to stay alive until time runs out a few times, but no way can I kill him. Now I'm just proud of not dying at the hands of Krauser before times is up.

pff, its easy once you get it. You know where you find the last peice of the statue thingy? If you get him in there on the opposite side, you can just hack away with the knife for about 30 secs and he'll die easy. Do it in a smooth motion, like, wait for him to get up a bit so you can make him fall down again. Just be really quick of the prompts, and knife him like mad, and you should be fine.
I remember reading a FAQ about this, and the author said that you should think of this fight as more fun then hard. I don't know why, but that really helped me. One of the best boss fights ever.
