Rogue galaxy is ok. i liked it but the battles can get repetitive.
Star ocean till the end of time was really nice. good visuals for when it was released. love the characters and the story wuz different.
Tales of the abyss. THIS WAS AMAZING. i loved it and if you like tales of the abyss try out the other tales series you won't be dissapointed. The character development was so good. loved the battle system.
I can say that Star Ocean was a great game and is one of my favorites. I don't really know many right now but Dragon Quest VIII was also amazing on the PS2 and will always be remembered.
Phantasy Star Universe 1-2, Valkyrie profile 2, Odin Sphere......... Are you opposed to tactical rpg's? They are turn based but because you have to consider where to place your units and stuff it makes it alot more tolerable than your standard rpg. Disgaea 1-2, front mission 4, Suikoden Tactics stuff like that.

Well sure, if it isn't a standard turned based battle system I might try it. The only exceptions of games that I'll play turn based, is Pokemon and Persona 3.
