Alright, I'm looking to record some of my imports to upload for a site I frequent.. I have a NTSC-J PS2, a PS3, a MacBook Pro, and a Olevia HD TV, what do I need to use to record videos(the PS2 is the one I majorly want to do) and what do I need to buy? What would you suggest? I didn't know if this would go in General Hardware or not, if it should, someone please move it.

There are few ways to go about it. Gamespot made a how-to article on making videos. Maybe that will help.

I use a DVD Recorder when I make videos. It's easier to do, but it's more expensive.

Can i ask a question myself? If using say a DVD Recorder to record footage will you still be able to record older consoles such as an NES seeing as they use RF cables to connect to the TV. Are there adepters to convert RF to Scart or do you just need to make sure ur DVD recorder can connect to RF?

i suggest you use a Dazzle, its a dvd recorder and its cheap, its about 50 bucks and its simple. you get some AV cords, connect the AV cords from the TV to the dazzle and then the Dazzle has a USB cord to go into your PC, its that simple. Also it comes with software so i think you can capture video with a video edtiing prgram, proably the the easiest free program but worst would be WMM
